Do you have a picture of the fish that is being talked about as the basis to determine which fish we really talk about? Many stores sell their fish and labeling it whatever they like.. My local fish store sells the stiphodon under the name of "Gobi" which should be clasified as Gobidae in taxonomy.. So the common name is unreliable..

You should know either that the female Stiphodon ornatus are hard to distinguished from other species..

Mon magasin de poissons local vend l'Stiphodon sous le nom de «Gobi», qui devrait être clasified que Gobidae en matière de taxonomie .. Ainsi, le nom commun n'est pas fiable ..
